What classes
should I take to enter the program?
The criminal justice department does not have specific prerequisites,
but suggests government and writing classes.
Mount Mercy recommends several classes to prepare for college academics:
- English, four
years
- Mathematics,
two or more years including algebra, algebra II and statistics
- Social Studies,
three or more years including American and European history
- Science, two
or more years of a laboratory science
- Foreign language
(preferably Spanish), two or more years
