What
classes should I take to enter the program?
The major requires 48 semester hours in six disciplines to graduate:
- Economics: Microeconomics
Principles.
- Humanities: One
course from a selected list in English, philosophy or religious studies.
- Foreign Language:
Two courses at the intermediate level or above.
- History: Two
courses -- Latin American History, Imperial Russia & the Soviet
Era.
- Political Science:
Global Interdependence & Human Survival, and one additional course
from a selected list.
- Sociology: Methods
of Social Research and one additional course from a selected list.
- Concentration
Requirement: The student must complete an additional six semester
hours of courses numbered 200 or above from any of the departments
listed above.
