What classes should I take to enter the program?
If you are in high school and considering the marketing program, courses in consumer science and economics are recommended but not required. Although the department does not have specific prerequisites, the college does recommend the following classes:Please see the admission section of our current college catalog (pdf) for more information about requirements and admission procedures.
- English, four years including literature
- Mathematics, two or more years including algebra, algebra II and geometry
- Social studies, three or more years including American and European history
- Science, two or more years of a laboratory science
- Foreign language, two or more years
