How will I gain experience?

You will have opportunities for individual performances through the weekly music seminar, an informal gathering where you will meet with other students to perform and discuss the music you are studying. Student recitals provide a more formal performance experience and serve as preparation for the senior recital, performed by music majors.

Interdisciplinary majors are required to do an internship in a local business. Please see the business section or the current catalog for more information.

If you plan to be a music education major, you will perform student teaching during your upper division years. Please see the education section or the current catalog for more information.
