Music
What will it take to graduate?

Mount Mercy College awards a Bachelor of Arts degree in music, with 30 credits required within the major to graduate. Would you like to know what kind of classes you will be taking? See our suggested four-year course of study.

Before students are placed into the music program an interview with the music faculty is required so proper placement and advice can be given. It is recommended that those students wishing to pursue a degree in music start the program in the fall of their first semester to assure completion of all courses in the usual time span. Also, all music majors and minors enrolled full–time at Mount Mercy College must register for MU 068, the college choir.

You can also view course offerings and descriptions in the current college catalog (pdf). Please keep in mind that these are only representative of current offerings for the academic year. Classes can be added or changed as needed.
