In addition, she is a licensed marital and family therapist and has a part-time counseling practice.

She also supports staff development in the use of instructional technology. Linda has over 20 years of experience with diploma and baccalaureate nursing students.

While working on her M.A., she worked on a cardiac intensive care floor, and while at Mount Mercy, Diane worked on-call in a general medical-surgical intensive care unit.

Her areas of interest include transcultural nursing, rural health and parish nursing.

Her research interest is in nursing education, nursing history and standardized nursing language.

Her current interests are neurology, neurosurgery, oncology and research utilization in clinical practice.

Currently she is a pediatric nurse practitioner in a school-based Health Promotion Center (high school setting).
