Kappa Xi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing
Kappa Xi is an affiliate of Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing. The purposes of Sigma Theta Tau are to:
- Recognize superior achievement
- Recognize the development of leadership qualities
- Foster high professional standards
- Encourage creative work
- Strengthen commitment to the ideals and purposes of the profession
The Kappa Xi chapter has four events each year:
- Induction of new members (each fall)
- A fall program
- A spring program (preceded by the annual meeting)
- Tabletops on the Hilltop fundraiser in the spring
All members are invited to these events. Additionally, anyone else who is interested in Kappa Xi events may attend.
