How will I gain experience?

As a social work major, you are required to complete junior and senior field instruction. This consists of two semesters. Twelve hours of agency placement and two hours of seminar each week, usually taking place your spring semester of junior year and fall semester of senior year. Students have interned at:

• Juvenile Court Office
• Tanager Place
• Four Oaks
• Aging Services
• Domestic Violence Programs
• Big Brother/Big Sister Programs
• Goodwill
• Department of Human Services
