Mount Mercy College is a leading choice for non-traditional adult
students seeking a baccalaureate degree while maintaining full-time
employment. Nearly 40 percent of our students are over the age
of 25. If you are at least 23 years of age, with at least three
years of work experience, we invite you to take a closer look

degree completion programs for working adults.
Recognizing
that life experience is a valid source of knowledge and the premise
that adults are self-directed and intrinsically motivated, accelerated
courses are formatted into five-, eight-, or 10-week block in
which students attend class one night per week for three or four
hours.
In-class hours are replaced with a range of cooperative
and individual learning opportunities outside of the classroom
to allow students an opportunity to maintain the balance in their
personal and professional life while pursuing their bachelor’s
degree.
