Financial
aid consists of two types of assistance: gift aid and self-help
aid. Gift aid is in the form of scholarships, grants and awards
that do not need to be repaid. The sources of gift aid are the
federal government and the State of Iowa. Self-help aid refers
to student employment and loans. Loans will need to be repaid
after the student is no longer enrolled at least half-time.
