Mount
Mercy College understands that the cost of your education is an
important factor when making the decision on which college you
will attend. It is the goal of the Financial Aid Office to make
it financially possible for all qualified students to attend Mount
Mercy College.
Currently,
100 percent of our full-time freshmen receive some form of institutional
financial aid from Mount Mercy College. In addition, state and
federal aid in the form of grants, work study and loans are available
to students to help offset the cost of their education. We have
outlined these programs on our Web site so you can have a clearer
picture of what is available to prospective students.
All
students that have been admitted to a degree-seeking program at
Mount Mercy should complete the Free Application for Federal Student
Aid (FAFSA) so that the state and federal aid eligibility can
be determined. This form is available for completion after January
1 and should be submitted to the federal processor prior to Mount
Mercy's March 1 priority deadline. Once the Financial Aid Office
has received the FAFSA results, all admitted students will receive
a financial aid award. Each year the initial awards for new freshmen
will be sent starting March 15 and new transfer awards will be
sent starting April 1.
If you have
any questions regarding the financial aid process, please do not
hesitate to contact the Financial Aid Office. Before accessing
the rest of our site please read the disclaimer.
