Mount Mercy College has become a leading choice for non-traditional adult students. Nearly 40 percent of our students are over the age of 25. If you are at least 23 years of age, with at least three years of work experience, we invite you to take a closer look at Advance@ Mount Mercy and Mount Mercy's other degree completion programs for working adults.

Offering programs in business, marketing and accounting, Advance@ Mount Mercy meets the needs of the adult student. The course delivery format accelerates courses into a five-, eight-, or 10-week block in which students attend class one night per week for three or four hours. In-class hours are replaced with a range of cooperative and individual learning opportunities outside of the classroom to allow students an opportunity to maintain the balance in their personal and professional life while pursuing their bachelor’s degree.

Mount Mercy also offers an accelerated degree completion program for RNs called Nursing: RN to BSN Completion. The program is tailored for working RNs with three years of experience to earn a bachelor of science in nursing. Health Services Nursing Home Administration is designed to prepare students for administrative careers in the expanding health care field.
