Faculty
The entire Art Department faculty is nationally and regionally known as exhibiting and published artists. All art faculty have terminal degrees, PhD. or M.F.A., in their areas of expertise. Jane Gilmor is currently Head of the Art Department and has been here for 30 years. She exhibits her work in this country and abroad. Bob Naujoks, past chair, heads the Graphic Design major and is well known for his work in Design. David Van Allen is our photography instructor and Gallery Director and exhibits his life size fragmented portraits in this area and in Mexico. Kathryn Hagy more recently comes to us from New York City, where she worked for an art gallery. Her graduate degree is from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design where she also taught. She teaches Introduction to art, printmaking and art history. Ben Jensen teaches ceramics, sculpture and Introduction to Art. His work has also been shown around the US. Kelli Spengler, alum, also teaches Introduction to Art as an adjunct professor. In addition, we have several adjunct professors in Art Education, including Amy Wunder and Jim Jacobmeyer.
