claims this award for the second month in a row after leading
the men's basketball team in scoring (20.2 ppg) and rebounding
(7.5 rpg) in six December contests. He also added five blocked
shots and 10 steals for the Mustangs. The Brooklyn Park,
Minn., native posted a pair of double-doubles, including
28 points and 10 boards against Morningside College and
26 points and 13 rebounds against the University of Dubuque. |

Hometown: Jesup, Iowa
Brandy,
who earned the September award as a member of the Mount
Mercy volleyball squad, averaged 13.9 points and a team-high
7.6 rebounds in nine December basketball games. The Jesup
native shot 55 percent from the field and also totaled nine
blocked shots and 12 steals. She made the all-tournament
team at the Clarke College Holiday Tournament after averaging
22 points and 9.7 boards in three games, including a 26-point,
16-rebound performance against Augustana College (Ill.).
