Matt, a team captain, shattered Mount Mercy's weight throw record in January with a throw of 52-01.25. He won the event at the Central Invitational and the Cornell Quadrangular and finished seventh at the Platteville Open. Matt qualified for the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships for the second year in a row by reaching a provisional qualifying mark in the first meet of the season at UW-Platteville, then became one of only three athletes in school history to reach the automatic qualifying standard for a national meet at Central a week later.

Marci led the Mustangs in nearly every statistical category in January, averaging 21.6 points, 6.8 rebounds and 4.6 steals per game over nine games. She had back-to-back 34-point games in a loss at William Penn and a double-overtime victory at St. Ambrose. Marci has five double-doubles this season, including two in January. She nearly had a triple-double in a loss at Upper Iowa, totaling 27 points, 12 rebounds and eight steals versus the Peacocks. Marci racked up 34 points and 15 boards in the win at St. Ambrose. This season she leads the Midwest Classic Conference and ranks eighth in NAIA Division II with 3.44 steals per game.
