the first month of the season, Matt led the men's basketball
team in scoring (17.7 ppg), rebounding (8.9 rpg), steals
(1.8 spg) and blocked shots (1.7 bpg). He was also second
on the squad in field goal percentage (66.7%) and third
in free throw percentage (78.2%) and assists (3.1 apg).
Matt was the Midwest Classic Conference Player of the Week
for Nov. 22 and made the all-tournament team at the Clear
Channel Thanksgiving Classic.

Marci
was the Midwest Classic Conference Player of the Week for
Nov. 15 after setting a school record with 47 points in
Mount Mercy's 79-74 victory over Doane (Neb.) in the first
round of the Doane Classic. For the month, she led the women's
basketball team in scoring (13.0 ppg), rebounding (5.5 rpg)
and steals (2.9 spg) and was second in field goal percentage
(49.5%).
