Hometown: Center Point, Iowa
During
the month of September, Luke accumulated a 74.0 stroke average
over 10 rounds of golf. His low round, a 4-under-par 66
at Edmundson Golf Course in Oskaloosa, tied a school record
and gave him medalist honors at the William Penn University
Invitational. The senior from Center Point also tied for
first place with a round of 68 at the Highland "36"
Tournament at Park Hills Golf Course in Freeport, Ill.

Brandy Schmit
Senior Outside Hitter/Volleyball
Hometown: Jesup, Iowa
Brandy
led the Mount Mercy volleyball team in kills (191), digs
(376) and service aces (28). Her 41 digs in a match against
Grinnell College set a school record and ranks seventh nationally
amongst all NAIA, NCAA Division II and NCAA Division III
players this season. The senior outside hitter reached the
30-dig mark three times in September, in victories over
Grinnell and Upper Iowa University and a loss to Park College
(Mo.) The Jesup native is on pace to set single season school
records for digs and digs per game.
