Nick
led the Mount Mercy men's soccer team with six goals and
three assists in 10 games. He scored two goals in a game
twice -- in a 3-2 overtime win over Rockford (Ill.) and
in a 5-1 victory over Cornell. Only a freshman, Nick has
already established himself as one of the top offensive
players in the Midwest Classic Conference. He currently
leads Mount Mercy with seven goals and four assists and
was the MCC Player of the Week for week two of the season,
Mount Mercy's first player to receive that honor since Dan
Warne in 2000. |

Hometown: Dubuque, Iowa
Hempstead High School
During
the first month of the season, Keri had already scored 12
goals, surpassing the single season scoring record of nine
set by Christi Anderson in 2002. She also tied the school
record for goals in a game with four in a 10-0 win at Mount
Mary (Wis.). Keri helped the Mustangs tie the school record
for victories in a season with five in September (MMC now
has six) and was named to the all-tournament team at the
Sal Vaccaro Invitational. |
