named MCC Runner of the Week

RAPIDS, Iowa -- For the second week in a row, Mount Mercy College
sophomore Mallory Marshall has been named the Midwest Collegiate
Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Marshall placed
31st out of 354 runners at the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational on
Sept. 21. She finished the 6K race in 23:46 at Credit Island Golf
Course in Rock Island, Ill.
The Mustang
cross country teams have two weeks off before heading to Kenosha,
Wis.,
site of the 2007 NAIA national meet, for the Carthage College
(Wis.) Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 6, at 11:00 a.m. The NAIA
Mid-States Championships are Saturday, Oct. 13, at 11:00 a.m.
at Southwestern College (Kan.) in Winfield, Kan.
