Shares Medalist Honors at Southeastern

BURLINGTON, Iowa -- Mount Mercy College sophomore Shane Parmenter
carded a 77 to share medalist honors with Iowa Wesleyan College's
Jordan Crampton at the Southeastern Community College Invitational
Monday at Spirit Hollow Golf Course.
Senior Ryan
Flugum tied for fourth with a 79 for the Mustangs. Senior Joe
Whitman shot an 80, sophomore Justin Leas an 89, senior Dustin
Moser a 90 and junior Bryan Von Roden a 90.
Mount Mercy
was second in the 10-team field with a 325 total. Iowa Wesleyan
won the tournament with a 320 team score. Kirkwood Community College
finished third at 326, Iowa Western Community College fourth at
329 and Iowa Lakes Community College fifth at 333.
Although the
forecast looks bleak, the Mustangs are still scheduled to play
in the Buena Vista University Invitational Friday and Saturday.
Tee times begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at Spencer Country Club
in Spencer, Iowa, and 8:30 a.m. on Saturday at Lake Creek Country
Club in Storm Lake, Iowa.
