to join Mustang softball program

CEDAR RAPIDS,
Iowa -- Chelcee Wilhite from Corwith-Wesley-LuVerne High School
will join the Mount Mercy College softball team in the fall as
an administrative manager, Head Coach Glenn Johnson announced.
Wilhite, who
plans to study nursing at Mount Mercy, was on the honor roll during
all four years of high school. She was a four-year letterwinner
in softball, basketball, track & field, and cross country.
Wilhite was an all-conference performer in softball and a three-time
state qualifier in track.
Mount Mercy's
2008-09 recruiting class now includes seven student-athletes.
Wilhite joins Becca Smith, Therese O'Shea, Sheena Canady, Brianna
Williams, Mariah Early, and Katelynn Edwards on next year's team.
