Mercy's Hopp, Spengler to Race at National Meet

RAPIDS, Iowa -- Mount
Mercy College seniors Nathan Hopp and Kaylon Spengler will race
in the marathon at next week’s 55th Annual NAIA Men’s
Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Fresno, Calif.
It will be
the second national meet for Hopp, who also qualified for the
marathon in 2004. Spengler, a two-time NAIA national qualifier
in cross country, is competing at his first national track &
field meet.
This year’s
marathon is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, May 27 at 8:00
a.m. CST at the Fresno Pacific University (Calif.) Track.
