Spengler Compete at National Meet

RAPIDS, Iowa -- A pair of Mount Mercy College runners, seniors
Nathan Hopp and Kaylon Spengler, competed in the marathon at the
55th Annual NAIA Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships
last weekend in Fresno, Calif.
Hopp, in his
second national meet appearance, finished 33rd out of 45 racers
with a school record time of 2:55:34.64. Spengler, a two-time
NAIA national qualifier in cross country, was 42nd at his first
national track & field meet with a time of 3:11:24.82.
