set to join Mustang men's cross country and track teams

RAPIDS, Iowa -- Mike
Miroux from Hall High School in Spring Valley, Ill., has signed
a letter of intent to join the Mount Mercy College men’s
cross country and track & field teams, Head Coach Ryan Scheckel
announced.
Miroux was
Hall’s team captain in cross country and track & field
as a junior and senior. In cross country, he was a three-time
team Most Valuable Performer and finished ninth in the three-mile
race at the Illinois state meet as a senior with a time of 15:20.
Miroux also won the regional meet (16:36) and placed fourth at
sectionals (15:33) last fall. As a junior, he finished third at
regionals (15:57), seventh at sectionals (16:17), and 47th at
state (16:03).
On the track,
Miroux won the two-mile run at the sectional meet in 10:07 and
was 20th at state as a junior with a time of 10:20. As a sophomore,
he placed 24th in the two-mile at state in 10:24.
