nabs weekly honor

CEDAR RAPIDS,
Iowa -- Mount Mercy College senior Katie Larsen became the second
Mustang to earn athlete of the week honors this indoor season,
earning the Midwest Collegiate Conference Women's Track Athlete
of the Week award for Feb. 4.
Larsen produced
top-10 finishes in a pair of events at Saturday's Hilltop Open
at Cornell College. She was fourth in the 3,000 meter run with
a time of 11:05.99 and seventh in the mile run in 5:36.43. Both
times are the best in the MCC so far this season and both rank
second all-time at Mount Mercy.
Next up for
the Mustangs will be the NAIA Challenge on Friday at 2:00 p.m.
in Storm Lake, Iowa. Then it's back to Platteville, Wis., for
the UW-P Open on Saturday, Feb. 16, at 11:30 a.m.
