named MCC athlete of the week for fourth time

CEDAR RAPIDS,
Iowa -- For the fourth time this indoor season, Mount Mercy College
senior Katie Larsen has been named Midwest Collegiate Conference
Women's Track Athlete of the Week for March 10.
Larsen placed
17th in the 3,000 meter run at the 2008 NAIA Indoor Track &
Field Championships in Johnson City, Tenn. Her time of 10:42.27
broke her own school record set earlier this season at the University
of Wisconsin-Platteville Open.
The Mount
Mercy men's and women's track & field teams open the outdoor
season at the Easter Open, hosted by
Central Methodist University (Mo.), at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March
21, in Fayette, Mo.
