DUBUQUE, Iowa -- Robert Morris College (Ill.) shot 58 percent from the floor while building a 14-point halftime lead and ended Mount Mercy College's seven-game winning streak at the Clarke College Holiday Tournament with an 84-64 defeat of the Mustangs Friday at the Kehl Center.

Two-time defending champion Mount Mercy (4-10) had won seven straight games at the Clarke Holiday Tournament since a 79-73, second-round loss to Tri-State University (Ind.) on Dec. 29, 2004. The Mustangs will face the University of Illinois at Springfield at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The loser is out of the tournament, while the winner will play a third game on Sunday.

Junior guard Kelli Dabroski led Mount Mercy with 20 points. Senior forward Chelsie Patik added 12 points, junior guard Jessie Dirks 11. Dirks also grabbed a team-high five rebounds. Patik and junior forward Katie Manning had four each, but Robert Morris outrebounded the Mustangs, 39-28.

Janesha Washington poured in a game-high 26 points for Robert Morris. Jerita Gordon chipped in 21 points, Tonesha Members 11. Sharena Atkinson hauled down eight rebounds, while Washington and Ashley Banks dished out four assists apiece.
