CANTON, Mo. -- Junior guard Emily Duffy scored all of her game-high 19 points in the second half to lead Mount Mercy College to a 60-46 victory over Culver-Stockton College (Mo.) in non-conference women's basketball on Monday at Charles Field House.

The host Wildcats (3-2) led by eight points at intermission after the Mustangs (2-3) shot 22 percent from the floor in the opening period. Mount Mercy, which connected on 57 percent of its field goal attempts in the second half, trailed by as many as 11 points with 14:16 to go in the game before Duffy sparked an 22-2 run that put the Mustangs in front, 49-40, with 5:13 remaining. Culver-Stockton couldn't get closer than seven the rest of the way and Mount Mercy snapped a two-game losing streak.

Duffy finished with 19 points, six rebounds, four assists, and a pair of steals. Senior forward Addie McCreedy and junior guard Jessie Dirks also reached double figures with 10 points each. Junior forward Katie Manning added nine points and tied Duffy for the team lead with six boards. Freshman forward Emilie Warren chipped in a career-high eight points to go along with five rebounds.
