BACCHUS (Boosting
Alcohol Consciousness Concerning the Health of University Students)
continues to expand and become a more active organization on campus
each year. The organization promotes safety concerning alcohol
consumption. A dedication to peer education and responsible use
of alcohol unites the members of this club.
Being an active
organization on campus, BACCHUS plans and implements a number
of safe-break campaigns throughout the year. Working to educate
others about reckless habits is the focus of these campaigns.
In addition, BACCHUS sponsors events for National Collegiate Alcohol
Awareness Week, Jail and Bail, the “Drunk” Olympics,
Pie in the Face, mocktail bar, and more. BACCHUS is about friendship
and the promotion of a responsible way of life in a very fun and
very rewarding way.
