The mission
of Student Alumni Career Ambassadors (SACA) is to link students
and alumni to encourage career planning, facilitate networking
and promote lifelong connections with Mount Mercy College. SACA
hosts career-related events each semester to bring students and
alumni together to learn about such topics as interviewing, job
search strategies, dressing for success and etiquette. Several
“members only” gatherings also take place each year.
SACA provides
opportunities for students to meet and network with alumni, increase
their confidence in interacting with business professionals and
gain realistic experience in career fields and options. They also
explore possibilities for informational interviews, job shadowing,
and internships.
